Default Went to Houston Raceway Park tonight...

8K miles on my truck now, BONE STOCK. CC 5.3 2WD. I weighed my truck with almost 3/4's of a tank of fuel, me, my wife, and my baby girl and it went 5370LBS. I am 200, my wife is 120, so a little over 5K with that much fuel. I made 3 passes, and I am going to have to bracket race this son of a gun:

2.40 60' 15.97 @ 88.2 MPH
2.41 60' 15.96 @ 88.6 MPH
2.40 60' 15.96 @ 89.1 MPH

That is my baseline before the mods begin!!!!!!

What color is your truck? I was out there also (silver Sierra) and had all kinds of traction problems. I made about 5 runs and headed home. Very consistent times you have there!

That's pretty damn good for that truck and consistent.

Post up your truck in the Fastest Truck List(FTL) thread and I'll get you on there.

Silver, '05. I got there @ 5:45, and had all of my runs done by @ 6:45. I hot lapped 2 of them, and then it cool down for @ 45 minutes to see the difference, and as you can see, there was none! I also pulled my buddies Mustang out there on our trailer. I tell you what, traction for us was very good! I had no problems with wheel spin what so ever, and my buddies Mustang runs 10.80's on motor, and he was on Drag Radials cutting 1.60's 60'.

Thats good Derrick. Glad you got out there for a baseline run. Sorry I wasn't able to make it out there, but I just had stuff goin on. I'll probably be ready soon though. I finally got my ET Streets in the other day.

I hear ya about the consistancy though. My truck, before traction was a problem, was damn consistent. We still need to get together so you can check out my truck. Let me know when.

Sounds good. I definitely want to check your truck out. The CC is the red headed step child, at least on the "Fastest Truck list" I posted up there yesterday, and there was only a handful. You know, when I had my Reg Cab Z71 (95 model) and I sold it back in 02 to buy my Powerstroke, I had a hard time selling it because of a Reg Cab, everyone wanted the EC. Times have changed I guess. And now that I have a family, I NEED the CC.
