Well i have been injesting oil ever since i installed my PRC heads, i am hoping it is just leaking threw the rocker bolt. when i installed them i did not put anything on the bolts... so i am wondering what everyone uses... Also i was planning on cleaning up the rocker bolt holes, would brake clean be OK to use?

Wouldn't some green/blue locktight work fine? I know permatex makes a thread sealant as well

yep those are the two options i was considering... Just wondering if one was better than the other...

use both? Green locktight on the bottom and thread sealant at the top

cool, i gotta stop by there anyways to pick up some intake gaskets and TB gasket for my new intake ... Might as well address the rocker bolts while i am at it..

I'd call ahead of time (early today if possible) to see if they have the intake gaskets. If its a NNBS intake you're changing to, they might have to order it in to the store.

We use plain old, black, RTV silicone!

Thats what I used..but the grey GM brand seeing I was at the dealership..
-Also something to consider while your in there ...I used the Edelbrock high flow rocker arm studs on mine... they are shorter so they dont protrude into the runner like oem ones..only $40 too
