Default Popping noise on my exhaust??? 99-06 truck

Ok I’ve been chasing a popping/ clunking noise under my truck for about a month no with no luck... truck is a 05 silverado 6.0 fbos... the popping/ clunking noise seems to come right under my passenger side floor while idling and at lower speeds... I’ve already changed my torsion bar mount brackets and the noise is still there.... any suggestions??? Could it be my muffler???? Would that mean that it’s on its way out?? No codes thrown and the truck drives perfect...

Cat material coming loose? I had that happen before it completely came loose and clogged up the exhaust.

Check for loose hangers, and for sanity's sake: check for popped off manifold bolts

Is this factory exhaust or aftermarket?

Make sure nothing sagged enough to hit the cross members, or rub the body. Check the y pipe clamps too, and wiggle them when cold

something rattling or something hitting?

while your under it just take a good look around and pound around the side of your fist see if you can get it to happen, had a similar thing going on with my sons truck it was the y pipe hitting the crossmember

See if the piping is hitting anything. Worn motor mounts usually are the cause if it's all the sudden hitting.

This also happened to me. My 3in ypipe was hitting the crossmember and had to be heated to massage it a little.
