Default Opinions on Redline oil??

I'm at around 1300 miles on the new engine. Been running dino oil in it to break it in. I'm getting ready to make the switch to synthetic. Was thinking about going with 10w-40 Redline. What do you think???

Don't know much about it. Contact Patman. He is the oil guru. He probably has test results he can direct you to.

I have had great results with it in my truck and motor setup
It has a higher flash point than mobil one
I also found i would have higher oil pressure at idle with it over the mobil one
Also noticed a little less vavletrain noise

I've pretty much made up my mind. I think being FI plus the fact this engine was built loose it would be the best oil to run.

She's running good so far. gonna put my electric fans back on and get back a little hp. Looking to get a custom pulley made for the whipple so I can get the boost up some. I'm really wanting to make 500rwhp with this whipple. I may be wrong but I dont think anyone has yet without a little help from some nitrous

I hope I can make it. I hope we have some nice cool weather to run in.
I will need to borrow some tires though if I expect to make a decent run.
