Default Best performance drop in style lifters?

I had planned on using the Gaterman 1012s, but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. I've seen the Johnson 2110s recommended, but the Howard's lifters look nearly identical and are typically $300 cheaper. I'm leary of the LS7 replacement lifters that are being mass produced. Not sure what to do.

The application is an LQ9 that got refreshed - honed, new rings and bearings, crank polished, etc. It will be going in my 2001 RCSB that sees 10k - 12k street miles annually and gets raced several times a year. The cam is a custom grind on Comp XER lobes, 228/236 .600" lift. (It's a close copy of a Crane cam I had in a previous engine, pulled strong to 6500-6700)

What part number? I have the older part number Morels in the LQ4 that is in the truck now. I've spun it to 6500 multiple times with no issues.

I think the LS7 lifter "fiasco" that you will find complaints about is old news at this point and not relevant. Just buy them from a reputable source and they are probably fine. I was researching this quite a bit last year and that was my conclusion anyway. I bought some Summit brand LS7 lifters and they appear to be genuine, there was a video I had found on how to tell if they were genuine or not.

I haven't put them into service yet so don't have any other feedback beyond my internet research basically.

I ended up with 2 sets of Hylift Johnson - new old stock. 🤞 Hopefully they do the job. They look identical to the Gatermans.

I only use GM trays. Everything else goes in the trash. It's not worth it for the $5 -$10 dollars you save to cost me a motor.

I have the Johnson 2110R’s with factory trays, going above 7000 and they love it lol good luck with what you picked up.
