Lining up new t case encoder gear

Default Lining up new t case encoder gear

I install the new transfer case encoder ring inside the gear and I didn't mark the line up marks and now I don't know how to line it back up to to reinstall it

Are you talking about the the little wheel I was telling you about on your other thread? There's some little marks that have to be aligned. I took some screenshots when I got AllData to try to fix the issue on my suburban. It's this one:

Is this the neutral position and if so when reinstalling how do I get the transfer case in the right gear for reinstall . I was thinking of plugging it in and switching the the controls to put the case in the right orientation

how do I get the transfer case in the right gear for reinstall
You grab the little shaft thing that the motor works, with some channellocks, and turn it to neutral. Kind of a no-brainer. Which I fully admit, I'm better qualified for than most, having no brain; butt I don't think you'll find it too much of a challenge either.

Default Motor lined up

T case motor was reinstalled with new e ring and all lights came on neutral stayed on the put in 2 wheel and nothing happened blank
