once I get mine up it will be nice to compare how much of a difference it makes using a 65 vs an 80. We will be running close set ups. My cam and stall are a little larger and I am using 64cc patriot stage 2 ls6 heads in order to runn 11.1 compression. I just want to know how much this 80 is going to bring me down.

it is very consistant and great for showing if you are geting improvements with your mods. it is also good for setting shift points. it absolutly kicks *** for working on your 60' time. you try diferenct launch rpms, diferent amounts of spin, diferent rates of rolling onto the gas and the gtech will tell you what works best. it is one of the best gadgets i have even paid for. you have to get the one that will let you download to your computer so you can compare runs and stuff.

i wouldn't use it to quote track times untill you goto the track at least once and use the gtech there and see what the "corection factor" is. for my truck it is .25sec almost exactly. the reason it is off i am told is due to body pitch after you get on the gas.

My experience with the G-tech unit was that it's incredibly accurate at least for my Camaro SS. I ran it at the track and it clocked within a hundredth of the tracks clocks. The mile an hour was higher by 2mph. I was told the higer mph is due to the fact that the G-tech measures at the end of the quarter mile as opposed to the track's clocks averaging the last 60 feet. Dunno, but it sounded plausible.......

very nice truck. so you have a stock bottom end except for the arp rod bolts right? did you upgrade or change anything else not listed on the video like lifters, rockers, oil pump, timing chain and such or is it stock?
