Default my dynojet runs, with tuning

here was my dyno run figures i did on friday, after i installed o2 simulators, and descreened my maf. i had a problem getting the acctuall graph up.

04 Silverado, ecsb 5.3, cai, descreened maf, tb spacer, jba wires, bosch plugs, true dual straight pipe, turned down before axle, gutted cats, tuned with granatelli programmer.

i dyno ran it on a dynojet. and had it tuned off the figures, final figures :

max power: 286.76
max torque: 330.31

i make the horsepower around 5400 rpm
before tuning it was making around 250 horses, and 324 pounds of torque.

i apologize for the missing section, dont know what went wrong there, showed the whole thing on the computer :-(

here is the graph, for my dyno run

Why is it that these new motors show much more impressive numbers? Take my motor for example. It made 267/303 w/ MORE mods than you have.

Is it the tune? If it is the tune like many say, what in the hell are the differences? I've knocked back my KR tables and punched in 35* of timing @ 6000. This resulted in a 14.3 @ 95 at the track. I reset my A/F ratio, saw 25-29* of max timing and ran the exact same times last night with the same 60'.

WTF!

Like mentioned however... Very impressive numbers and if you figure out how to post the graph, please do! Thanks.

Default trying to get my graph

im trying to find a free file hoster, if i can do that, it would be easy, i appreciate the comments, for some reason man, my motor , performance wise, has been a cherry. The biggest HP and torque gain was made with the timing, it was all the timing. my ET's suck because of my rear end setup, 3.42's and no posi. i havent had alot of money to dump in her yet, but eventually it will happen, i cant stop buying crap for her, just yesterday i bought some sylvania bright white lights, and some bosch windshield wipers, didnt need to, just wanted to. Makes driveability in bad conditions better. And i didnt want my wife to give me any excuse why she wrecked my truck. hehe. its at 36,000 miles, so im about to go in and change every fluid and filter shes got, just for the hell of it. but once again i aprrecaite the comments

Default figured

thank you for the good comments on the numbers, i was proud of the output, my track times are not that good at the moment, im still workin on getting the power to the ground and making it stick. I just want to get a few more motor mods before i hit the tranny and axle.

as i figured, i would have something wrong with what i did, why is dynojet fake now? why does descreening your maf hurt? why does gutting your cat lose low end? why do o2 simulators fix your fuel tables,

you know what, i hear all that, and i research it, and it turns out to be true on most examples, but just listening to people, sometimes it hurts, sometimes it helps, its just personal opinion, or what you hear from someone else, a "repeated opinion"

i gutted my cats, and run straight pipe, didnt feel a low end difference, infact, i have traction problems at the track bad! and i have 3.42's

i descreened my maf, dont tell a difference, acctually feels like it breathes better.

my OBD threw codes at me for the cats, i installed o2 sims, not much of a difference there either, now i get a heater circuit code, but besides the point

if dynojet is fake, my bad, its all i could afford at the time, and its local,
do you know its fake? if everyone in my town swears by the numbers, what makes it fake? it has a rack, backs up one the dyno wheels, spins, and puts out graphs and numbers, might be fake, my truck might be a slow suck, ehh
doesnt matter, im trying, and im trying to take in as much knowledge as i can, but i would never down someones attempt at performance mod'n, u do what u can, with your budget and time.

im not even trying to come off mad or nothin, lol, ive had a bad night with the "Extended family" thanksgiving nightmare. i love the opinions,
