I am doing the install right now but have come accross a bump in the road. I cannot get the passenger side manifold off because the dipstick is going right through one of the loops in the exhaust manifold. How have you guys gone around this?? Do I have to remove my dipstick??? I sure hope not...
Thanks!!

Yeah, you have to take it off. There's no way around it. It just pulls right out after you take off one bolt. But it's a PITA to get it back in....especially in the dark with a 20 year old flashlight.

The dipstick is a PITA if you don't have the truck on a lift or jack stands. I had a hard time getting the dipstick bolt in without keeping it from compressing the header flange, easily fixed with just a bench grinder.

i got em on last night started it up its loud!!!! so looks like an open header memorial day, no one is open to weld it for me but as i took it for a test drive i ran into problem #1298437 on this install, now the steering hits the driver side header when i turn left!!
sounds cool but this definitly wasnt like bolting up some hookers to a carburated small block.
