What are the max lift on the stock LS2 springs. Thanks guys

Same as LS6, .570 I believe.

I agree with Smokeshow in that I reacall the typical answer is generally .570”, however Lingenfelter sales a set that they say are good for .580” once they have passed verification and sold as a matched set. The individual springs that don’t meet their requirements are just sold as the typical LS6/LS3/LS9 replacement spring. I would keep in mind though that there is more to it than just how much lift the springs can handle before going into bind, you also need to be concerned with the spring rate and open and seat pressures. Some of the faster rate cams need a little more spring to keep up and prevent resonance, and the requirements for this will be listed on your cam card. The LS6 style springs are good for a lot of the mild-ish ground cams with decent lift though and work reliably with them at a good price. It just depends on your individual requirements as to whether they are the best bet for you.

I agree im in installing a V2 torquer cam from texas speed specs are 232/234 .595/.598 and i have a extra set of ls2 springs a buddy of mine gave to me but was pretty sure they wouldn't work but just wanted to make sure before i bought a set of comp 918's

In my opinion you'd be crazy to run them on ANY aggressive lobes like the XeR. If I were to put a lift limit, I'd say .550" or less!

I know that my buddy i boughy the cam for has been runing that cam and them 918 springs for about 2 or so years and hasnt had any problem what so ever

Imo i would go with the patriot duals. they are inexpensive and can take anything daily driven. jus my 2 cents. and wont have to worry about changing them.unless u get a donky cam lol
