Default ls1 fans

hey guys. i will be installing my ls1 fans with the nelson harness soon. i have read about people hooking up a manual toggle switch to activate them when ever they wanted to. my question is after i get everything wired, will i be able to activate the fans to kick on with the manual toggle switch without the pcm being programed for the fans? thanks....

yes i just did this by using putting a scotch lock on the blue wire that comes from the pcm and run a wire to a switch and then from the switch to a ground wire. that away they will be controled by the pcm and also by the switch

I have mine setup that way, but Im not sure if it would work if the perameters in the PCM werent set to recognize the fans.

The toggle switch will turn the fans on. It does'nt matter if the pcm is programmed to turn them on or not.

you can wire it state to the switch and then you have complete control over when they come on and go off.
