Long tube/corsa delma
Ok I have a 2000 rcsb 5.3 2wd silverado and was gunna do just a cat back corsa sport, but now I'm thinking of Texas speed long tubes, ory, Volant cold air, and a tune, but there a couple things I had questions about, would I get in trouble for not having cats cause for at least a couple more years it will be a daily driver, and I would do a tune and was wanting to kno when he does do the tune if he can make the front o2 sensors the primary o2's and would that keep the check engine light from coming on, any info would be great, thanks

where are you located? some states require emmission testing some dont, if you do live in a state that does it your truck will fail the test without the cats. If they dont test for it youll be fine. To get rid of the cel they simply have to turn off the rear o2 sensors and adjust for increased flow.

Yes I live in st Louis Missouri and we do require emissions, but I will have it tuned, the guy that's doing it is well known around here for doing ls type motors and has done trucks so I can tell him just to increase the flow to the front two o2's? Ad what should I do with the remaining o2? Would would be the best thing to do with it?

The front 02s (upstream) dictate the afr reading for the pcm. The rear 02s (downstreams) are just in place for emissions, and tell the computer to throw an ses code if one is clogged or broken. With a tune the rears will be deleted out.

If you have friends for inspections, what are you worried about? No other way for you to get in trouble unless stopped and they inspect.
Run LT's, enjoy them. But running cats won't cost you any performance that you will see. Dummy cats are helpful to some. As mentioned, a tune will correct your CEL.

I'm just worried about the computer part but that's it, I have been talking with a lot of people, also talking with guys on here I have had my mind eased about this but I'm excided about putting them on and seeing the gains! Truck ran a 15.86 stock in 1/4 so I'm hoping for high 13's
