Default Left Power Door Mirror Position Detent Not Holding 2005 Silverado

The detent to allow the mirror to fold if hit is very loose. As loose its held in position I'm surprised it does not fold at 25mph but it holds at 80mph until I hit a rough bridge joint or patch.
Has anyone gotten into one of these and restored the holding force?

Thanks

Well, I managed to find some videos that were back yard fixes and I do appreciate the efforts the creators made. I came away knowing how to get into the workings at least and will go from there. Its basically a barb push nut works off the spring.
