You'll be fine NA on a blower cam, they drive really nicely out of boost. I'd go ahead and include an overdrive balancer, they make a blower more fun. Lol...

But here is his sig I copied over.

2017 Crew Short 4x4 - 575hp/581trq at the tire in 5th gear at 7psi at 5.4ms pulsewidth at .82lamda on 91 e10 fuel
L86 to A8, Stock fuel system with added flex sensor, Magnuson TVS 2300 at 7psi, TSP L83 stage 2 cam, 10% lobe, VVT locked out, Valvetrain upgrade, S&B CAI,TSP LTH no Cats, Magnaflow 3.5 Cat Back, Lowered 3in in the rear, Nitto NT 420S 305/40r22 - for summer, 2-piece rear drive line,BDS recoil traction bars
My only concern on the L83 cam is the LSA of 113. the LT1 cams have a 116 LSA which is also what the stock L86 cam has. The lower LSA will make better torque lower int he rev range, but won't it degrade driving characteristics?
Based on his sig, my goal of 600 whp, is probably doable.

For sure, would totally do it again.

Need me to post a video of me doing a burnout with 22 x 12 wheels and 33" mud tires. I weighed them at 115 pounds too. I can just punch it off the line and burn them through 1st and bark it into 2nd.

I can tell you I lost no bottom end. With the stock cam it would spin then catch with the same wheel combo.

Should not have any drive ability issues, keep in mind it's a small ish cam for a 5.3, that you're putting in a 6.2.. that makes it an itty bitty cam, more cubes eat up that duration happily. But great for boost, should see significant gains with boost and be happy everywhere.

I have the exact same truck pretty much and have the parts gathered to do an LT4 supercharger. Stock cam, stock heads, just the blower. I only use it to tow my trailer and other truck and as my DD, so really only looking for better towing, figured 5-6psi should be plenty. Also have a low side pump to upgrade to, hoping that will get it enough fuel to not have to upgrade the injectors since im staying on pump 93.
