Default 2500hd nv4500 build

Brand new here. I just picked a ecsb 05 2500hd 6.0 nv4500. My goal is to make it a fun “Sunday driver” so to speak. It’s not going to tow other then a few truck pulls a year. I’m pretty sure I’m going with tfs 220 as fast heads. Stock bottom end. I’ve been looking at the Brian Tooley truck cams. But came here to ask what you guys thought for cam selection. I’m not so much looking at peak numbers as the truck is gonna be driven not a Dyno queen. Also not looking to spin the sbe to the moon constantly. Any suggestions?

Daily driver type cam should stay in the "stage" 2-3 range, going huge will make you probably wish you hadn't.

I'm not sure of your budget but if you want a cheaper way to make extra power instead of new cylinder heads, it would be just cleaning yours up really nice and milling them to gain compression. That would probably save you a huge chunk of money if that mattered to you.

You'll need to upgrade your fuel injectors too, stock 6.0 injectors are only 25lb/hr. Bump up to some 31lb/hr 8.1 injectors for a plug and play upgrade besides tuning for them. It'll give you the head room you need with a camshaft upgrade.
