Ive never had any cooling problems with my LS1 fans. I just have them right up against the radiator (I did see somewhere where someone actually make a shroud for them thought) I still have the 5.3 radiator with my 6L, and Im guessing Im around 400+ HP at the motor. Mine stays right at 185-190 with a 180 thermostat.

BTW, the 05 fan plugs ARE different from the LS/LT1 plugs

no problems here, but I haven't had an opportunity to tow my "normal" heavy load since they've been installed

I have a 2000 with the original 105A alt. And havent noticed any power drain. I do have an Optima battery, but not sure if that helps or even matters.

I've towed a 85 T/A on a 2,000 lb U-Haul trailer for 400+ miles with no problems. Of course the 80 mph wind through the radiator probably help I'm not sure on the temp but it was ~190-200. I also had a couple hundred pounds of stuff in the bed.

I havent had any trouble with mine. I towed this with my 05 fans and it was about 90°F ambient.

It had about half a pot of water in it. Im not sure of the weight but it was heavy.
