Exclamation just called livernois and they said ''No''

Hey guys i just called livernois motorsports and asked the guy about the
CNC Ported Stage 3 GM LS-Series Cylinder Heads. The man told me that NO ONE has developed a cylinder head for the 4.8, 5.3s, I was like WTF they should work for them if they work for an LS1 and he said ''no, sorry. youll have to wait till they come out with heads for them.'' My cousin just bought them for his 99 z28 and he loves them. So i figured i might pick up a set for my truck if their prices are good. I didnt want to question a guy that worked at a performance shop, but you can swap heads between a stock bore ls1 and other 4.8,5.3,6.0s or did i miss something

Heres a link to the ones i was looking at. http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...t.phtml?p=1352

I'm sure you could make them work, but for the price ($1800) you could about put a fresh 6L in there.

I want to put these heads on a 5.3 motor that im picking up dirt cheap. Not the 4.8 thats in my truck now. The 5.3 has like 67 miles on it and and all the 6.0s i find are arounk 60,xxx miles for 1,200 bucks. My cousin goes through livernois and picked the same heads up for 1,300. So rite now its either a 5.3 with heads and cam or just a 6.0 for the same price.

He's F.O.S. Not true, Edelbrock has some that they specifically say fit the smaller 4.8/ 5.3.

If you're spending $1800 for heads, could just add $500 more & get some Edelbrocks. If you ever go to a 6L, you've some nice heads.

wow i didnt even look at those. They flow 312 intake 223 exhaust @ .600 (w/no exhaust) and the stg 3 livernois heads flow 310.9/245 @ .600 (245 with 1 3/4 pipe) Seems like a good deal tho.
