Save your cash for a supercharger. Theres no way to make power quick, easy and fast. Im gonna go with a Radix magnacharger for sure. In fact its gonna be my next mod.

For awhile now I have been trying to figure out what mods to throw on my truck, cam, Torque Converter, electric fans, pulleys, etc. All this stuff WILL make more power but in the end I dont think my performance will come out the way I want, the way a supercharger setup will perform.

Yea I know my stock tranny wont last long but that also depends on how much one drives their truck. I only work 10 miles from work so as long as I dont go nuts with the truck all the time I think the tranny should last a while. I definitely plan to go with a nice aftermarket tranny cooler, but will keep the stock torque converter. I think going with a higher stall converter AND a supercharger will surely kill a trucks tranny, faster than with a stock TC.

 

power quick and easy = Nitrous. Get a wet kit and you will oooootay butwheat. Lokk at the fastest truck list and look at what few mods GreyGMC has. He has a 4.8 as well and is in the 13's because he sprays. I know i love mine

 

yup the NK wet kit is the best thing you could ever buy for your truck.

 

I know nitrous makes big and quick power but personally I like power that is always there and doesnt need a full bottle to be produced.

 

I like being able to build me a pretty stout motor n/a for what it cost to get a SC
