Yes exactly what you said and I said but the fact that you have a clutch fan pulling the air all the time is more benificial for the A/C then just turning the fans on when the clutch is engaged.

just went out and bought a 5/8 heater hose connector and 5/8 plugs for the firewall. total cost about 8 bucks.

E-fans are not setup to just come on when the AC is on. If you are in slow to stopped traffic in hot weather the collant temp is going to run the fan also.
I went from clutch fans in the 03 to Flaex-a-Lites and the AC was like ICE all the time in the humid GA summer city traffic.

alright. just got done doing this. i'll find out on the way to work how much colder the A/C gets. and post up there.

note: dont forget to depressurize the coolant system first or you will get fluid all over the back of your motor.

well its seems to blowing alot colder and more power. its at 3 seems to be doing the job of what 4 used to do. cant say im to distressed with this mod.

wow excellent work bro.. you will love how its going cool down faster after parking in the sun all day.. i have the center consol ice box and my drinks are even colder now ..

I never have to put my A/C on anything higher than 2 anyway and only for a little bit but, this sounds like a good mod for you guys in the south.

Hahaha.

How do you depressurize it. After you make the connections does it automatically re-pressurize or what? In case you havent noticed I know nothing about a/c.
