On a side note, the OBS SUVs have a heater bypass valve that does this same thing, that's controlled by the HVAC control module. Wonder why the SUVs get this but the pickups don't?
I had an old Caprice and Mote Carlo with the valve. It would stick in the winter leaving me with no heat, just ended up removing it or rigging it open.

Gets hot in La. (the state) also. With 105% humidity and no rain (don't ask I don't understand eigthor just following the weatherman) 97* is pretty damn hot. Its gotten to 92* already. I think I'll be trying this, just cap off the heater core. Thanks for the tip.

The reason why the A/C is hotter with the Efans is becuase the clutch fan is cooling the condenser all the time by running air through it all the time. The fans are not on all the time so this will cause the condenser to be a little warmer. This is why it is nessecarry for the fans to turn on when the clutch goes on.

But this is a good idea here I am going to have to try it. Should be 105 today, and it is feeling a little humid.

Yea I learned that the hard way. At first I didn't have mine set up to turn on with the A/C. It was like a sauna till you were rolling. Damn 134a.

Electric fans should be wired to run whenever the AC compressor is engaged. If you have the PCM controlling the fans you can have them run only when below a certain vehicle speed if the AC is on, since natural airflow over the condensor at speed eliminates the need for the fans.
