Thats funny because I just installed my e-fans and now the a/c seems to be warmer. But I did go like a week with no A/C maybe it just warmed up alot during that week DAMN TEXAS WEATHER

at the track i would run my heater to take out the hot coolant in the block. once it would cool off, i'd start it for a second to recirculate hot coolant in the heater core so the heater could release the hot air. just my .o2

That is off of my S10. It actually helps the truck run cooler because the factory heater actually dumps hot coolant into the cold side of the radiator. I usually leave it cracked open slightly. I just used a ball valve and a couple of hose barbs from Home Depot. I had this same deal on my old car for the AC like you said, but my Silverado is almost too cold already. I always have to turn it down.

I bypassed the heater core on a beater (79 Ford Faimont) I had back in college because it sprung a leak and I couldn't afford a new one...ony difference is it was winter in Jersey! BRRRR!

The previous owner had done that to my pickup when i got it- the home depot ball valve mod.
On a side note, the OBS SUVs have a heater bypass valve that does this same thing, that's controlled by the HVAC control module. Wonder why the SUVs get this but the pickups don't?
