I Have A 02 2500hd Extcab Short Bed Does Anyone Make Long Tube Headers Or What Is The Best Headers To Get. And Can You But A Trailblazer Converter In It

 

No you cant put a tb converter in it your truck has a 4l80e in it and thosse converters aer for 4l60e's. Stainless works, dynatech, I believe arizona speed & marine and pacestter make them for your truck.

 

No One Makes A Y-pipe Does Any One Know How Does Or Where I Can Get One Made

 

Your truck does not have a y-pipe it has duals back to the muffler. Dynatech makes headers and tubes with cats in them. Some fabrication to join the tubes to your cat back may be required. They are not cheap but you get SS headers and tubes with cats. Or just get the headers and have the existing exhaust modified to bolt up. Have a look at them here Dynatech . You may need a good exhaust shop in your area to connect your existing exhaust to the headers or your cat back to the tubes with the cats in them.

Also TOG ( The Other Guys ) makes a nice set of mid-length headers that a lot of people seem to be happy with.

 

Get the Dyanatech Header System. This is the best system out there, IMO!!!! It is a direct bolt on. Thats what I have on my truck.

 

He has an hd they have a different exhaust setup than the half ton trucks. They are good headers jsut not worth the money IMO and alot of others.

 

No one that I know of has a direct bolt on kit for an HD truck. The HD does not have a Y pipe, but has larger diameter dual pipes than the SS, Escalade, and Denali's. I am not sure, but it looks like the dynatech system for 6.0L engines has 2.5" head pipes. I believe the 2500 HD trucks have closer to 2.75" stock. I would just order headers with a 3 inch. collector and get a custom setup built to adapt your stock cat pipes to the new headers. If 2.5" header collectors are adequate for your truck, you could just expand the adapter pipe to fit inside of your stock 2.75" piping.

 

ok if long tubes are a b*tch what are the best mid or short length headers
and has any one but a head and cam package on these and has anyone but a ls1 or ls6 intake on them (2500hd 6.0)
