I have the non-intercooled Magnacharger on my 02. The programmer that comes with it has it's own program and your only option is basically 'stock' or 'magnacharger' programming unless they changed it since I bought mine a few months back. I did not notice a difference in shift firmness or rpm and you can not 'program' it either! can you say If I would have known the intercooled version even existed I would have waited.

They are using a Silverado SCSB 5.3 with the Intercooled Magnacharger, ASM headers, ASM catback, 3.73's, and a G80...everything else stock. They are still doing testing/tuning...but they ran a 13.29 the other day and couldnt keep tires from spinning. They are ONLY running 6lbs of boost, which is very low for an intercooled S/C..so more boost can be easily added. Here is the link to their site...although the dyno they use is VERY conservative (Mustang dyno). They got 487hp at the flywheel to begin with, ran a slower time than above, so not sure what is producing now?

I noticed a improvment in shift firmness with mine, but I have the pressure regulator tweaked on my 4L80. It will scratch my 275/60's between 1&2 at WOT. LOWR is right, it would be nice to be able to adjust shift points etc like the HPP.
Mine seems to shift about 5800 and I have not found the limit yet but only have been about 110mph a couple times with it. So its above that.
Oh, and mine's not intercooled.

I noticed shift points at 5500 but when I manually shifted at 6000 - OMG! The truck came alive, just kept on pulling even more! Too bad I didn't do the manual shifting while I was at the track. But be careful, my 2nd gear went south very shortly after this manual shifting and I believe that was the culprit. I can't wait to get my new converter in and tranny built! About the speed limiter - that is another 'unknown setting' in the program that you get but it is set high, above 115mph for sure(at least with mine).

OK, I lied to you earlier. I had the laptop hooked up to it today and it only goes to 5000rpm at WOT shifts. I think I need to invest in LS1edit. But mine is a 6.0 so yours may be different, not sure.

whitt1 keep us informed when you get it. I really like the look of the new intercooled setup. It's hard to find any REAL info on the thing though.

edit:just got done watching the video's and a 13.42 and 13.77? that's not what i was thinking, i guess the arizona heat has something to do with that. a converter, cam and et streets would probably get 1 more second out of it,

some company/vendor needs to get ahold of a shortbed 2wd and build a radical setup, with stage 2 heads/ large cam/ fat converter/ and a big shot of gas, among the normal bolt ons. thats probably cheaper than the s/c setup and faster. i dont think i've seen one yet. That truck is already sold, but the owner wont get it till after the Chevy show in AZ in Feb (Super Chevy I think?) That 39k truck is probably some "mexican hooptie mobile"..lol
