Default fuel cell ?s

what would the advantages/disadvantages of going with a fuel cell and eliminating the stock gas tank aside from weight distribution and eliminating the chevy lean

*i dont have the chevy lean but i thought it might help others if this was answered in this thread also

i am swapping to a stepside bed from a fleetside and was wondering why not go ahead and put a fuel cell in the stock location of the spare tire and put the fuel filler in the bed and keep from having to buy a stepside bed fuel filler neck

this is a project that i wanted to do eventually anyways and thought it might be a good time to do it

how hard is it going to be to shave the gas door on a stepside (composite) bed and if very difficult what could be done with it aside from just being vacant - maybe get a locking gas door and have fuel cut-off switches in it IDK

any one who has done this already

what parts are going to be needed for this,

fuel cells
mounting brackets
hole in bed and filler neck and gas door

what will be needed for gas lines in have a 01 silverado 4.8 i think i have a return style fuel system but not sure
