What is the "claimed" (by GM) redline of an LS1? What are the LS1 guys REALLY, SAFELY revving to w/o changing the rod bolts?

The cam really pulls hardest at 5K+ and keeps on pulling even though it is cut off @ 6K. I wonder how much power I could pick up with a 6300 shift point. Or will the heads even flow enough to make power @ those RPMs?
Yup .. they are all the same as far as I know. I think the rods are even the same part number.

I've read some people revving to 7100 with a stock bottom end. Someone was revving to 7500, but I don't remember if they had rod bolts or not.

I just know that if for the cost of shipping I can see maybe another 10 or so horses from more room to spin, I just don't want to gain a lil extra power but give up a motor.

6500 will be fine on that motor. I would use a synthetic oil though, but that should go without saying if you're pushing it hard anyways.

Stock heads wont meet the cfm requirement at that high of rpm.
