Exhaust too loud!!

this isnt really a good pic but for me just moving the piping back about another 2 feet and adding an x-pipe made a world of difference. nasty at WOT but definately bearable at cruising speeds and no in cab bs either which i hated.

Here's a groundlevel shot of what I did. (I also have Magnaflow cats and mufflers) As it goes over the axle the passenger side crosses and exists on the driver side. Driver side goes out the passenger side. This keeps overall length of each side somewhat equal.

An OBS 4-door Tahoe is set up exactly like a SCSB pickup - fuel tank under driver side, spare mounted underneath in the rear. I had enough clearance between the spare and the 10.5" rear to get a piece of 3" pipe, you should be able to also, you've actually got more room to work with.
In the back I used 4" round Mangnaflow 3" in/out stainless mufflers #14419 as resonators. They completely elminated cabin resonance.

I've also gotten tired of the exhaust tip scene and now think exhaust should be discrete and tucked away. I went to a lot of trouble to get both sides symetrical. It came out exactly as I wanted it to. You could do this with a pickup too, keep it all tucked up under there.
