Default Exhaust too loud!!

Hey all, I just got done installing my pacesetters, 3" magnaflow cats, custom dual 3" exhaust to a magnaflow 3" dual in/out and dumped. I had it all done last week thinking it would get a little quieter by now but it is still loud as hell at WOT. And now I cant hear the radix whine and I love the sound the radix makes . What do you guys think about putting on another magnaflow 3" dual in/out? Or do you think an X pipe would be better? Any other options are welcome.

I have the duel 3" in and out magnaflow muffler , mine has a cross over or ,x-pipe, built inside. If you don't have an x pipe, one might help . My pipes exit behind the pass.side rear tire. It's not too loud there. Dumping them under your truck will definatley be loud , though. The guy at Magniflow said the muffler I bought was the biggest on they make .

I don't know what you're talking about it being too loud. I ran my pacesetters open header this weekend when I installed them and I thought it should've been louder.

Have you considered running the ehaust out the back or side of the truck? I remember when I cut off my tips and dumped it before the axle. It got a decent amount louder and there was a significant increase in drone inside the cab.

That is the same muffler I have. At WOT I cant hear the radix at all. Even just 70% throttle it very loud. People look at me like I am an *** hole just passing them and my foot is not even in it much. Would putting another magnaflow help much or would it put too much back pressure?

Like 01Blue4.8 said , might try to get the ends of the exhaust out from under the truck . Also you could try some resonators or something like that . It is pretty loud at the ends of my exhaust , but they are out from under the truck. I know it is a lot of work to go over the axle , but it would be quieter . Plus I have a 4.8.

I could not find any exhaust tips that I liked, thats why I had it dumped. My friend has the same set up as I do except 2 1/2 inch exhaust and no sc and his is much quieter(his is not dumped). Does anyone have any pics of dual 3" exhaust tips?

x-pipe would help a lot...also you might want to run your pipes a little further back than just over the axle. i moved mine from being dumped to closer to the rear bumper and just that short distance made a world of difference.

I have his set-up with the x-pipe in it also and it is still ***-a-9 loud!!I am going to go with more restrictive muffler(s) and put cutouts in for when I want to be loud.I hear what he means about passing people at part throttle and getting the glare!

Hell i'm annoyed with how loud the aero chamber dumped is on the truck i just bought. I gotta find something a little softer for my taste.
