My Walbro drop in looses pressure fast key off. Key on builds enough to fire off.
Why some pumps have a check ball to stop bleed off and others don't

Are you sure it's not your regulator?

That’s part of the dilemma is that I see zero reliable way to test it. It does not leak gas when unplugging the vacuum and the pressure does go up too. But it seems like it’s possible it could still be bad. I am unsure.

I’ve had a relatively busy weekend so I haven’t done anything yet. I am hoping tonight I can get back on it.

Is the wideband showing rich?

Set the Open Loop EQ Ratio across the table to 1.00 until you resolve the issue. This will keep the computer from adding extra fuel with a cold engine.

Fuel > Open Loop/Base > EQ Ratio

@1FastBrick Hey don't judge me! I can be lazy sometimes

Okay attached here you will find a video of my smoky exhaust and a log of it starting up and idling. Whenever you see the throttle increasing that is the truck doing that on it's own and not me. I don't touch anything during this time except my phone to record the video I took.
MAF looks okay to me for being at idle. I can try a pressure regulator but I am unsure if that would fix it. Still have to go to the parts store at some point so I can pick up and try a regulator.

@RedXray This is the only log I am taking tonight, the truck revs a little too high for my neighbors. Tomorrow I will change the tune to incorporate what you are looking for if my log shows something I don't understand. I think the truck would die if we stopped it from adding it's own fuel. I also realize I should have added a graph for AFR. Wish the Impala wasn't taking my shop space right now.
Sorry for my retarded video, just trying to give as much information as possible.

Spending some time thinking today perhaps a dangerous game,
The last thing I did before the truck quit running was fill the tank back up. I had a little over a quarter tank iirc. What are the chances I just got some dog **** water or alcohol polluted gas? I mean thinking about it that may explain the long crank and the smoke coming out of the tail pipe? I am not sure but I need the truck back to running at some point lol I was thinking about trying out some stabilizer or buying one of those gasoline alcohol content vials to just check. Maybe if there is one with water level? I don't know.

Tomorrow I was thinking about driving it the 30 miles or whatever until it decides to throw a code out at me.

Something is causing it to add fuel. Did you check for un-metered air in the intake and exhaust tracks?

I don't know about the gas where you live, but most gas contains some ethanol in it. Unless your specifically buying a non ethanol gas.

In CA its usually around 15%. It used to only be 10%.

There doing the Same with Diesel Fuel Mixing a Bio Blend into it.

Yes we have 10% everywhere where I live. There is only one ethanol free station within 30 miles of me and it has only 87 octane.
Also I don't live in the hood but basically every gas station near me is in the hood. They do weird stuff over there...

Do you mean checking for an intake/exhaust leak? To answer that no I have not. I can buy a smoke machine though.
Also where in the log do you see it adding fuel? To my untrained eye it didn't seem like it was based on the AFR.
