I think some guys were making them out of small pieces of aluminum.

Since I started this thread 4 years ago, I finally burned through the heat wrap (actually, it slipped and exposed the wire) on the "hump" plug enough to warrant me swapping on a different plug wire. I just used a longer wire and re-routed it around and away from the header again. Looks like a$$ but it's got plenty of clearance, and I had the spare wire laying around anyway. Figured since the original setup shown back on Page 1 lasted damn near 4 years, it works, and I'm the only person who sees it...it's fine for me.

I know this is a old *** thread but just curious as to who is still buying/running these still. Looking at buying some for a truck I just bought. Its a 02 single cab 5.3 truck 105k miles old man special. I found the old style like everyone has with the big hump and egr but I found another set that looks exactly like the new pacesetter design.http://www.ebay.com/itm/191129441927?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p398 4.m1423.l2649. ....the only worry is the size of them. Its says in the item specifics that its 1 1\4 inlet and 2 1\4 outlet. Don't know if its a misprint or are they really that small. I like the design over the other style.

Still have the humped version...near 5 years later...still fine, no issues.

Never really understood why some thought the hump was such a problem, since nobody sees under the hood but me, but to each his own.

Your link didn't work, but if those sizes are right, you're probably better off leaving the manifolds on, IMHO...

They are from the seller speed daddy. I read a while back that even dnamotoring changed their design but I can't find the thread anywhere. I emailed them to ask . I'll try to get the link soon.
