Just part of having longtubes. The metal on headers is much thinner than factory manifolds. The sound is somewhere between "cling cling" and "tick tick" lol

yes, almost resembles a leak unless you know. Drove me crazy thinking I did at first. I may have to just bite the bullet and get a louder muffler, dont want to be embarrassed by people thinking my truck is a POS!

Would exhaust wrap on certain turns and/or collectors reduce this at all?

Like AJII said, it's part of the longtube sound...Mine has gotten noticeably quieter in the year and a half they've been on. It seems when they are brand spanking new they make the most noise, as well as snap, crackle and pop after you turn the engine off and engine is fully warmed up...Mine's either quited down due to carbon inside the tubes, or I am just that used to it, or I am going deaf from this loudass Harley of mine, LOL...

I would NOT wrap them with anything.

Make sure you don't put any RTV on any gaskets that are upstream of the O2 sensors.

In case you're all still looking for the headers.... 290 shipped from the original place.
Theyre just really hard to find on ebay lol. For whatever reason you can't find it in search.

i could only use one of the good band clamps
the passenger side of the y-pipe has a brace about 1/2"-1" in the way of a band clamp & wouldn't give me room to bolt it all up. i just ended up having to use one of the supplied U-clamps. it's still holding fine, though

Is that the best price on these or have these sold for cheaper at any point in time?

The headers have thinner walls and are made of a different kind of metal than the stock manifolds and will transmit more engine noise than the stock manifolds, as I'm guessing that you're probably figuring out, it's just the nature of the beast
