Ebay/OBX style header install w/plenty of PICS (LONG, but detailed)

I got the obx's. '05 2wd sierra. Used some wire protectors I already had by the hump. The band clamps included aren't at all tight on the smaller side of the slip fit pipes. I need to dent them because they're vibrating on the passenger frame rail

Just ordered mine the other day and they will be here next wednesday. I think I might be sick next Friday so I can put them on. Already ordered a EGR plate for the headers and will be picking up the EGR intake block off piece tonight along with some header wrap and copper RTV. There is a place that has them for the 320 shipped price, but not on ebay. Pulling my ecu this weekend so I can send it into Jessie for a retune.

Has anyone experienced sewing machine sounds, or a swarm of angry bees, or however you classify the sound of exhaust gases rushing thru the long tube headers? I have the stock GM muffler and no leaks, also verified by exhaust shop, no leaks. At idle I don't hear the noise, revving in park I dont hear it, but if I am driving with the windows down and say accelerating from a stop light I hear this sound, like rushing exhaust gases or noises being transmitted thru the tubes. Is there any way to limit this or eliminate it or is it just part of having long tube headers?
