E-Fans worth it?
#22
I your using a VSC you can't use the PCM to turn on the fans because the thermistor the VSC uses has 2 wires that go to pins 10 and 11 of the VSC while the PCM output is only 1 wire. You can use the PCM output to pick a relay to turn your fans ON. I believe the PCM output is a ground so you'll need to wire the relay with a constant 12 VDC source on one side of the relay coil and wire the other side of the coil so it is looking for ground to energize it. You tie the side of the relay that is looking for ground to your PCM output. When the PCM provides the ground to the relay coil the relay will be picked and your fans will come ON.
