Default dynatech's/coating/4wd

Ok so I just got done reading all the dynatech threads....all of them! I didnt see anyone say anything about offroading with them. I have a lifted '05 5.3 ext cab that I take off roading once in a while. Do some climbing, mudding, desert stuff. Im looking at getting the dynatech full system and am curious how they do while 4 wheeling. A lot of the trucks on here might be 4wd but never get dirty. Will the new system (even fitting close but not touching the side) bump at all during offroading?

Also I wanted to know if anyone knows where to get the header ceramic coated in phx if possible. I didnt ask the pro dyno guys the other day if they do it or can send them off. But I dont want to have to pay the middle man if I dont have to!

Thanks!

HP Coatings is in Chandler. ProDyno should be able to have them done for you. But on the other hand you may be able to get it done cheaper. My passenger header isnt anywhere near my frame. Things fit superb. I dont see why you would have issues off-road with them at all. Yea mud will stick to them and bake. But that will happen on any other header, as will a stock manifold. The stainless will just be less susceptible to corrosion.

Ceramic keeps the heat in the exhaust which keeps the underhood temps down. Stainless is tough stuff if it is coated or not, you shouldn't have any problems.

I beat the crap out of mine offroad with the dynatechs on and it was fine. When you hit a really hard bump like when you fall off into a rut or or damn hole the pirmaries would kiss the frame and make a thump noise but it wasnt bad and was only on the worst bumps that it owuld do it. I never heard any noise onroad from even the worst potholes.

Thanks for breaking them in for me. I haven't had any clearance issues.
