What size is that, 4"? If you have the supporting mods to warrant that big of an exhaust, I say go for it, I bet that it will sound great

It might sound like a lawnmower with the 4.3, but will sound good with a 5.3. I have a single 3.5 inch on my 5.3 truck with cats and a dynomax bullet race muffler and it sounds great.

Save it for after your swap, IMO. Besides, you'll still need all of the other exhaust components to use that 4" muffler. Read my thread if you want. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=479850

Idle vid.

John, didn't you have that same 4" Magnaflow muffler on your truck for a little while? Have a clip for him with it?
