Wow, all these cats dying, but good info. Just wondering if your cat over temp protection settings (HPT/EFI) were still enabled and stock settings in your tunes?
Reason asking....I got an LS6 with TVS topping in my Avy. The stock single 3inch waaaay too suffocating so doing the long tubes and dual 3 inch (tru-x) out the rear. Putting the magna bullets on after tubes. If your COT settings are all stock then I may go a little more aft with the cats for insurance.

What I believe (follow) is a common tuning practice is to disable the COT protection to eliminate the "extra fueling noise" for the cats. Normally for a vehicle staying catted this gets turned back on otherwise the cats risk getting destroyed from overheating....at least thats why I think the extra fuel gets sucked away. Of course if you don't have cats then you don't need it enabled.

Seems as though you are having quite the time with your exhaust configuration. Guys I have a few questions for you, I am running a Corsa sport system and the cats are gone. It sounds great. There are currently no emissions in my county and I'm hoping things stay that way. Who knows what Obama is going to do. Lol If emissions kick back in and I throw a high flow on my system will I pass? Also, I feel like I am sitting on some money with just having my cats laying around. Where is the best place to get some green for them and what are they worth?
