Default Anyone have a walbro intank and keep the bucket functional?

So my 255lph pump should be here tomorrow, and I've searched high/low but didn't find what i was looking for. I want to run this pump and keep the functionality of the bucket intact. I've installed dozens of these pumps in F bodies (98 and 99+), but their tank is slanted rear ward so it's not that big a deal. My tank is big and flat so i want the bucket to work like it does, don't wanna hack it up.
I don't want to be worried about getting on it if I'm at 1/4 tank. Also when i go to the track i like to be as low as possible on gas for weight savings. I know id doesn't seem like a lot but, full with 31 gallons thats comes out to about 194 lbs of gas. i like to run with about 5 gallons max, thats a weight savings of about 163 lbs.

Why are you wanting to run the walbro? A stocker should be fine with your mods.....s

You will need 2 walbros for that setup. I had a single 255 lph and it could not supply enough fuel for my t76 at 12 psi.

x2. When I put my 76 on, my single walbro was not enough. I instead just installed a Boost-A-Pump rather than another pump.

I have three walbro's actually. Got my new one in yesterday have one i've had and never used and an inline one i also never used. Just gotta pull the bucket out and see what i have to do to make it work. I was thinking of only going with one along with the 60 lb injectors (that's what nelson reccomended, but did say a double would be added insurance) but i would rather go ahead and put two inthere just so i don't have to drop the tank twice.
What size injectors were you running?

I have 60 lb injectors. You will have to cut the bucket to fit two pumps. Or get someone to make or modify one for you. Mine is cut, so I run 1/2 tank of gas at the track and don't get on it much if the tank is below 1/4 full. Anytime I'm at wot I always watch the a/f gauge.

My single Walbro and 60lbers are doing fine with my 347 and 78mm on 10psi... Holds 65psi in boost.

I just enlarged the hole in the bottom of the bucket and it fit fine. Ill be adding another 255 in tank or going to a very large single pump when I turn it up though... Ill probably run into issues right before long LOL...
