Default 99 ecsb radiator upgrade

Does anyone know if there's a radiator with a thicker core that will replace the factory single row without having to modify anything. Looking for a simple swap. Maybe one from an HD? Any help. 99 silverado 5.3 ecsb

You can upgrade to the larger radiator. 34" core vs. 27" core you have now.

BeCool makes a nice aftermarket unit too, that is a direct replacement.

The 2005 34" radiator was a direct swap for my 99'. The mounting holes are already there. It was only like $160 from the auto parts store. Of course, u need electric fans...

Not necessarily. You could buy the larger fan shroud and continue to use stock clutch fan.

My truck use to over heat pulling a trailer when it was around 90 deg or hotter outside, I bought the 34 in 6.0 2500 hd rad and matching shroud, bolts rt in and never over heated again!!
