6.2L 6.0L HO Engine swaps
#22
Get a lq4 or lq9 the difference is only 20 horse and about 15 pound of torque get a good small cam that will make torque ,long tube header , tbss intake, ls7 throttle body with a x-link, and a good stall around 3000 to3200 stall and should have fun with a decent setup tranny will need work eventually but til then have fun

what is considered a small tq cam for 6.0L for him?
212/218 114?
216/220 114?

L92 would be more money and time then you would probably want to spend, 58x, VVT, etc. First thing I'd do is throw that hand held away and get a real tune. My L33 GMC i had dropped off over a full second off my 1/4 time by longtubes/ORY, TBSS intake, and a perfect street tune done by me. You could always try that and if it's not enough all the parts will transfer over to a bigger engine, as long as you don't swap to rectangular port heads. Also remember your 35s are going to kill your bottom end and towing. If you still need more, a cam swap and a yank truck thruster converter would make a world of difference.
