But really weight is as big of a concern as price and is why I don't want to get an MT.

it will hurt braking a little, i can tell the difference when i go from my stock wheels to my 22's on my suv but i think its a little more then 10lbs each wheel, brakes work fine just take a little more effort

I think his move from 33 to 35 is gonna hurt more than 10lbs per tire, regardless of size. IMO

I went from 36" iroks (84lb) to 315 kelly (64lb) and it's insane what rotating mass does. I can blow the tires off from a 60km roll with the Kelly's on my low timing street tune.
yes I gained a little gear with the slightly shorter tire but alot of it is from weight.

I don't like lifting heavy tires up onto the lug studs. I was helping a neighbor put together his super duty on 40s a few weeks ago and realized I never want 40s.
I don't think I'll have an issue spinning the 35s or even 37s if I wanted to but I don't think I could fit them nor do I want them. I want the 35s partially for looks, partially for a little better traction and mostly because the 4.10s with the nv4500 are really overkill and re-gearing cost more than new tires which I already need.

Plus I guess deep down I'm a BFG fan boy from reading 4wheel offroad mag so much as a kid.

Death to stock drive shafts and sissy 10bolt.

But on a serious note my ladder bar keeps the rear in line very well 👌. I've been very happy with that purchase.
