It is... you're going to want at least a 3000-3200 stall with that on the 4.8, or else you're going to be sitting at a stop sign, hit the gas, and it's going to fall flat on its face.

That cam would better suit an ls1 or 5.3, bit big for the 4.8
If you're wanting straight up more power just get a 6.0 in this case...

If you have to stick with the 4.8, the tsp220 is about as big as it should get, and the 212/218 comp cams are proven performers in the 4.8

that cam would need a 4000+ converter, and 4:30+ gears to do anything. that cam is wayy to big like everyone else said. the 110-112 will sound about the same.

if you want a 112....then go get someone to cut you a custom cam based upon the 212/218 but on a 111-112 imo.

Too big! 220 would be max duration on a 3200much atleast. That 4.8 needs a 3600 to make up for the lack of torque.

I agree totally, and with those gears and converter it wouldn't be to much fun to drive especially daily.
I would like to try my cam in a 112 lsa. It would be great for a 4.8L

i wonder if Geoff Skinner @ EPS can make a cam thatll produce power just like the 212/218 but better. if i had a use for a smaller cam i would talk to him about a cam in that duration

its not really going to make it much faster if you can't get up and going...... Look smaller
