Default 03 6.0 Escalade Need MPG Improvement

Current mod..Wait4me performance tune for better MPG...
Currently get a whopping 12.5-13mpg in the city with a/c on...would like to get an extra 2-3 mpg out of it.
I drive it very conservatively, slow even..
was thinking on adding e-fans and cobra intake...

Will this give me the extra MPG I want....should I consider a cat back?

TIA!

Go with a name brand cat back. Try a full intake system also. They are the first mods to do, plus they give better mpg.

I think electric fans will help, but all the rest would probably be marginal or nothing for average MPG.

Definitely MPG gain with the electric fans, no bullshit I picked up about 2 extra MPG with mine.

My last tank of gas I got about 20 MPG driving nice and easy of course but none the less I am very pleased to be getting that kind of mileage out of my truck. Efans are definitely worth it.

You can also gain gas mileage through custom tuning. Something else to consider.

Of all the mods in my sig, LT headers gave me the most boost in mpg.

yes, a good custom tune will bring the gas mileage down.

A good tune, e-fans, and opening up the exhaust are all good starters to maximizing your mileage.

You could even ask for some custom tunes using 87 octane, and high-mileage/low power tunes much like what gets flashed onto a company fleet vehicle.
