Rebuilt the top side of the engine. Been driving around a bit. Exhaust still a hair loud. Good power everywhere. Throw is a bit long. Working on the remote shifter still. 1 and 3 feel right on top of each other so still getting used to it. Doesn't shift as nice as a car.
Most of the stalling is resolved but working on drivability with my tuner.

If you want to improve the throw:

I have one of their shifters on my '95 model NV4500. Super quick shifts like a sports car. It definitely makes driving it a lot more fun.

Just an update. Been driving it around with no issues. Most of the tuning has been done. Found out the cruise control still works so thats a huge bonus.
Two big things not resolved yet: I have to mount the shifter for the floor mounted tcase. I cut the cup holders out of the console to run a remote shifter and I have to fix it with a shifter boot and maybe some fiberglass work.
Shifting with the core shifter is pretty great. Much better than stock!

I took out a lot of the wording to make it easier to read.
Found out over the last couple of days that the manual segments I had swapped into the computer weren't right and the computer wasn't seeing the CPP. It thought the truck was always driving around with the clutch pressed in. So that was causing my tuning issues. Now that it is solved there are only a couple of things left:
Need to put in the shifter for the tcase.
Need to come up with a good solution to make the console look stock again.
