On my 2-4, Ive tried doetsch tech, edelbrock IAS and stock, and stock rides best by far. For handling, the IAS is definetely the way to go. But the roads around here suck too bad to be flying around corners anyways. However I recently swapped out my suspension and I'm using the stock springs now, so maybe the IAS would work better now. I'm going to try them out again sometime soon.

if you are using the stock shocks on the drop. then getting some shorter shocks will for sure help you out.

Not on the 4/6 if it's a DJM drop. The DJM drop is all control arm, meaning you keep the factory coil springs and shocks up front.

I've always like Bell Tech Nitro Drops. All I've used for 10 years.

True, at the time I was thinking also about the rear shocks, you do need new shocks for the back. I have DJM and they told me that I needed shorter ones in the front, Right know I have shorter ones in the front. But it does make sense since you are not changing the length of the coil spring.

I am running Stock length Monroe Sensa-Tracs in the front and drop shocks w/helper baggs in the rear. The Monroes ride alot better than my Toxic and Belltech(lasted maybe 2,000 miles) shocks.

are you sure that you retain the stock length shocks with those 4" lca's?

I knew that they raised the spring pocket, but doest the shock compress more or am i wrong here?

Yup. You retain the factory coil spring and shocks for the front...the rear needs shorter shocks b/c of the flip kit.

I like the belltech nitro drop shocks as well. I am running air shocks in the back so I can lift it a little every now and then.
