I can't get my 60' back down to the 1.7's I had before? I just knew with slicks and cal-trac I'd be hitting 1.7's with no problem, but hell I barely hit 1.7's on a 100 shot. Guess I should have stuck with what I knew that worked. I'm going to try tubes and screw the beads and see if that works. If it does I'll have some hoosier slicks for sell.
If anyone what's to share a secret I'm all ears...

how much air pressure you running I'm just guessing but id say you should be about 20 psi to start with and go from there. also i think your in need of a 9.5 converter maybe a 3600 that will help also.

For your cam in that ECSB, I'd swap your converter to a 265mm 3600 stall. And hit it with a 150 shot already....
Only reason you should keep the converter you have, is if you tow some heavy **** sometimes.

I've try 18psi to 12psi at 12 the truck skates to bad. At 18psi it helps with skating, but no improvement on the 60'. I run 15-16psi still skates but does pretty good on 60'. I ran 23psi with my M&H dr's and they hooked great. My best 60' is a 1.74 and the best I can cut with a 100shot is a 1.76
I do not want new converter till I figure out how to make it 60' again.

I still use my truck as a truck.
Heres a little clip, and from what I see I'm bouncing on the slicks. Skeet watched me make a pass and said it seems to unload as so as it hits.

i cant figure out the skate issue, i never had this problem in my ecsb back in the day, even at 12 psi, i take a shot at unloading of the rear would be because youre still at stock height, will this solve the issue if it was lowered, that i dont know, but being light on the *** end doesnt help neither, being lower to the ground probably so. i was cutting 1.60s 1.70s with a 3x4 drop!
i now run 10 psi in my slicks! also never had a issue with wheel hop, hows your pinion angle?
truck is deffinitely unloading as soon as launch happens

That was a pretty short burnout for slicks, too. That looked like a DR burnout to me, slicks need to get hotter.
Your rear suspension does seem to bounce all around. What's your suspension combo?

I'll have to go check my pinion angle and report back..

Suspension is Calvert 9 ways on the back, longer travel shocks up front with sway bar removed. Cal-trac bars
