Default what gears and converter i should use

i have an 06 silverado 4.8L reg cab. it has long tube hearders, cold air intake, 221/226 cam, it had 373 gears but the spider gears broke. now it has .342s in it, im going to get a new rear end but i dont know if i shoudl try the 410s or go back to the 373s...also i was thinking of putting in a new converter. the truck is a bit sluggish till about 2600-3000 RPMs its a daily driver and it stays in town...i have 275/55R20s any input would be appreciated.thanks

I'd go with a 3600 and 4.10s. I have factory 3.73s with my 3600 and I like them but if I had to buy them, I'd buy 4.10s.

i think im gonna go with the 410s and retune and see how she runs then if its still a lil sluggish ill get the converter i think the 410 should help alot just scarred to lose top end i like being able to punch it at 70 and fly around someone. i think the shift point is 5800-5900 i might change that to around 6500 or so..thanks for the input...im still pretty fresh to all this...im open to any other suggestions aswell.

I have absolutely no loss up top, actually my Yank feels like it picked up quite a bit everywhere. Thanks jrmchevy.

id do that 3600 and never look back. i just put a 4400 yank in my truck and it drives fine. moves around 1500 rpm, locks up at 35 mph cruises like a stock one. i havent got to the track to try it yet but its fun on the street. 4.11 gears also. DONT BUY A TCI stall

I'm running a Yank Pro 3400 with 410 gear..seems like the perfect street set up for me. I can cruise on the x-way at 75 or go to the track with no change except tires.

With your tire size and smaller cubes, I would go with the 4.10's and a Circle D 3000-3200.

I personally would step the cam down a tad if your wanting more low end for a 4.8.
