Can you use two 90s on the 4L60e or do you need a 45? I'm going to install the 40k now on my 60e but will be doing an 80e swap in a few months. I bought (4) 90s for the 80e but curious if I should get a 45 for the 60e

I used 45s for the 60E. I can't remember if 90s would work.

For anyone that's interested, I've got specifics now how to tell if my install brackets will work with NNBS trucks.

I'm building a complete new cooler line setup for my 4L80E. Since I live in New England I want to keep the radiator cooler to warm the trans fluid on cold days.

The 5/8-18 inverted flare fittings in my brand new radiator and my old radiator have a huge washer on them that pulls the internal cooler back against the plastic end tank to seal coolant in. Have you guys that used the radiator cooler with -6 AN adapters run into this too? I honestly don't know if my old radiator was stock or a replacement as I didn't buy the truck new, but my replacement came from GM.

...I was able to remove them from my old radiator, I don't think they're 5/8-18 inverted flare. These are o-ring fittings. For what it's worth, my truck is a 2005. I think GM changed something in the design.

Found it, my radiator has these fittings https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-800-619/

Has anyone ever found an adapter to convert these to -6 AN? If I find one I'll post it.

This is what I used on my 07 Tahoe's radiator cooler to run -6 AN lines

Leak free for about 30,000 miles so far

Awesome. I was wondering if -6 ORB fittings would work. Did you need a washer between the fitting and the end tank or did you just screw them in?

Nope, I just snugged them down with an AN wrench
