Check post 13 of mine to see how mine is routed. Some like using two 45s I personally like using one 45 and one 90 since the 90 keeps the lines tucked closer to the bellhousing naturally so it doesnt get too close to the header. You just have to make sure you angle the way I did so it clears the servo and the dipstick tube.

No problems using a 90 and 45 on the 60e, I have a lot of slack in the lines though.

On the 80e I recommend two 90s since the rear port is close to the body.

Your pics are one of the only ones I seem to find when I search. Atomic has his, but you cant see the trans fitting very well.

Thanks man...good info on the paint. I usually just use a regular Krylon type of stuff as opposed to engine paint for the very reason of heat transfer, or even Rustoleum in a pinch. I don't lay it on real thick either, just two thin coats usually.

I've heard of guys using grille paint, which will defeat the purpose lol. That stuff from Eastwood is definitely the way to go...I'll bet that if you search Amazon or Google you can find it cheaper than Eastwood has it possibly. I like Eastwood, but their prices are out of hand.

Heres my comparo. With my stock 60e, stock converter, stock cooler, I seen 200* as normal. Now with my built 60e, Yank TT2600, 40k cooler, steel braided lines, I see about 140-150.

I would recommend it in a second.

I see about 150-160* religiously no matter what the weather is, while beating on my smallish 258mm converter...

This past weekend I beat on my truck pretty damn hard towing this

With another 700ish in the bed and 3 people with all their **** in the cab.

All told I was probably pushing 12000 GCVW, I've got a built 60e with a normally 2600 converter but with all the weight and foot to the floor could get it up to 3000. We were stuck in construction traffic with mid 90 ambient temp the highest I could get my trans temp trying to get it hot was 190, not bad considering my baby cammed lq4 is putting out a decent amount of low end tq and stock temps run over 200. I can't stress enough how great a setup this cooler is. I've been running them since 05 and haven't used anything different since on anybody's truck I work on.
