I dont really like using the cut-off wheel since it leaves a ton of debris in the lines...

Actually even blowing it out with compressed air and running water through it doesnt remove it all. I had to use a flat head screwdriver down in there to scrape it away from the wall.

so this explains why you never responded to my pm, ya ***..
I just did my braided line install today actually, and i tried everything to cut them, cutoff wheel, hacksaw, chisel. And by far the best method was a really sharp chisel, the cutoff wheel left bunch of stuff in the lines like atomic said, and never got a great cut with a wheel. It always seemed to make the end of the lines expand as well, where as two good hits with a sharp chisel and your done..

Country Boy, it wasn't directed at you, just a general observation.

Actually, I never responded cause at the time I wasn't on here for 5-6 wks. Which was when ya sent that PM.

After that, I thought I called ya, but I may've forgot in all likelihood. My apologies.
Even after I started backhere on PT, I didn't look at much & dialed my time spent on here way back. Cause I'd have helped ya in a minute. Plus u have my number.

Ya, I've tried the cutoff wheel, I think I've done the hacksaw, but maybe I needed a finer blade or wasn't using e-tape at the time. Never did the chisel that I remember. Seriously, I haven't done cutting & fitment of braided in yrs. So it isn't real clear. I just member my finger tips being hurt & cut up. Atomic raises a good pt, & yes I did the compressed air & water thru it. If I was using this type of braided, Koul tool would be the ****.

Understand on this TruCool install, I did none of these as I used a different type of hose & fittings. They were a breeze & have a burst strength 4x the max. I'd ever see, worst case scenario. Those lines are almost bulletproof.

The grime that gets in the hose isnt too big of a deal. I have a set of pipe cleaners here that I can use. I didnt have any problems with doing that on my fuel system.

Got my 40k today. A couple fins are bent up but nothing a small screwdriver cant fix. Im getting antsy.
