Default Stock 10 bolt holding up to launch???

Truck with all mods are in sig.

I am currently launching in 4wd at 3300 rpm on 125 shot, and I spin for about 5 feet and then hook up.

I was hoping to launch in 2wd with slicks on the back without snapping that stock 3.73 10 bolt????

Also what size slicks are you guys running?

Also CalTracs are going on this weekend if they come in on time.

a 2wd launch with slicks and spray is probably about the easiest way to break it

Yeah I know that is the easiest way to break it but I am running a 13.05 right now and want to try and get into the mid 12s and figure going in 2wd will accomplish that...

Maybe slicks without spray till 30ft???

Truck makes 335 rwhp without spray, will that be a safe launch on slicks???

I dont know??? I am just playing with some ideas???

What size tires are you running?

I have a hard time believing your spinning that bad with the power you make.

I dont spin that bad at the track and i have roughly 600 at the wheels, stock 265 street tires.

What is your 60' ?

Stock gears will get you well into the low 11's or so.. The G80 is not going to take that much.. Good center section with a girdle should do well. Stock gm axles in these trucks are close to the size of a ford 9''

John.. Yeah gears are fine, I have a Powertrax in it now, cant turn down free

Just wondering if ppl are launching these 10 bolts with slicks in 2wd???

Kris.. the powertrax is great for having a locked rear end but for normal daily driving it gets very annoying being locked all of the time. Also it is 335 rwhp N/A. it is 422 rwhp with a 125 shot
