Alright I have a few drop questions. First Im looking at buying a 4/6 drop for my 04 Silverado. I have 20s already, they are 20x8.5 with a 5.5 backspacing. If I run a 255/45R20 tire will I run into any problems and will the wheel and tire stick out at all??? Thanks in advance

You should be fine, I know a good many run 255/40/20s without issue, and I think a few have ran a 275/45/20, but you would have to have a little more backspacing for the 275s. I ran a 275/35/20 on mine for a while, but it was just to wide for the backspacing and it rubbed the rear fender lips on bumps.

And no, the wheel/tire will not stick out, it will be tucked a little, almost flush.

i'm a wheel and tire spec. newbie, i have a 99 rclb with a 4/6 drop and i would liek to know if a 275-45-20 work on a 20x8.5 with a 31mm offset?

thats what i had researched before i just want to verify that it will fit in the front and not annihilate my fenders

How are they as far as grip on corners??

Thats close to 6" backspacing so they will tuck inside the fenders and you will not have to worry about the fender lips. However, with that tall of a tire, on dips/bumps in the road the front may rub the top on the inner fender.

this will be a 3/4" smaller diameter tire than i have now and i only rub a little on the highway so this should clear me up
